Self Employed Program
Self Employed Program is for foreign nationals who can create their own employment, by contributing athletically, culturally, or artistically to Canada job market. People with sufficient funds and relevant work experience can apply for the Self-Employed Program. This program has no minimum net worth and/or investment requirement.
To qualify as a self-employed person, you must have two years of relevant experience from the past 5 years and show that you intend to become Self-Employed in Canada. You must also score at least 35 points on a selection grid designed to determine whether you will be able to make an economic contribution to Canada.
To Immigrate as a self-employed person, you must meet the program’s sector criteria:

- Education
- Age
- Language abilities
- Adaptability
