- Have a minimum of 1 year’s paid full-time professional work experience within the last 10 years
- Meet the minimum of 67 points in the selection factors of Education, Language, Work Experience, Age, Arranged Employment in Canada, and Adaptability

- Have a Qualifying Offer of Employment for at least 1 year OR a Certificate of Qualification from the provincial or territorial apprenticeship authority
- Have the required language proficiency in English and/or French
- Have a minimum of 2 year’s paid full time skilled trade work experience within the last 5 years in one of the two listed groups below:

- Have at least 1 year ‘s qualifying full-time professional experience of authorized work in Canada within last 3 years
- Professional experience excludes work performed during full-time study, self employment or unauthorized work in Canada
- Have the minimum language requirements matching the level of professional skills performed in Canada
